Good morning from Grand Cayman! Michael and your devoted blogmaster are here, and today Hedy, Thomas, and Charles arrive midday. We will fetch them from the airport, locate our prep kitchen and equipment for Taste of Cayman at the Cayman International School, receive our food delivery from the island distributor for the short rib and panna cotta, and visit with Chef Dean Max in his kitchen at The Brasserie to work with his team on the panade and parsley sauce for Michael’s Cayman Cookout dinner course. It’s the calm before the storm, and we’re enjoying it. More later…
