


UPDATE: “How much does one of those cost?”, Chef half joked in an email to managers this morning. From the sound of it, Michael really enjoyed his first experience trucking last night, as did we! Thank you so much to Burger Beast for making this possible for us, to Richard Hales at Sakaya Kitchen for a tremendous Street Food Truck Court event, and to all the customers, old and new, that came out to support and to enjoy some genuinely tasty food and a good time. What: Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink takes over the Burger Beastmobile food truck for one night only with a menu customized around recipes found in chef Schwartz’s new cookbook. MICHAEL’S GENUINE FOOD: Down-to-Earth Cooking for People Who Love to Eat will also be available for purchase and signing at the truck, in advance of its February 15 release date.
