At the beginning of June, Michael was invited by friend and chef Michel Nischan (Wholesome Wave) to participate in Greenalicious. In its fourth year, this culinary extravganza and concert in Aspen, Colorado features an evening of great food, wine, and entertainment, with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Health Foundation Lunch for Life Program.
Michael is getting preparations set for his artichoke dish, the second in tomorrow night’s five-course dinner. The delicious thistle is the event’s celebrated ingredient, and coordinating chef Chris Keating was kind enough to offer Michael a slew of organic ‘chokes from California.
