Hedy Goldsmith at The Best Thing I Ever Ate on the Beach & on the Tube (again!)

Our superstar of pastry is at it again!

As reported in May 2010, three of Hedy Goldsmith’s desserts were declared the best thing that Frank Bruni, Michael Symon, and Scott Conant ever ate on the Food Network show by that name.  The production crew paid a visit to MGFD in Miami on April 27 and 28 to shoot the chosen sweets: pop tarts, popcorn and peanuts, and creamsicle pot de creme, and the episode first aired on June 21.

In case you missed it, you now have two more chances to catch Hedy in action!

*TONIGHT the “Sweet Tooth” episode re-airs on Food Network at 7:30p.m./6:30c.

*Saturday, February 26 from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. the South Beach Wine & Food Festival hosts its first-ever The Best Thing I Ever Ate on the Beach event hosted by Ace of Cakes host Duff Goldman at the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach.  The tables turn, as Hedy picks the best thing she’s ever eaten from the always scrumptious Daniel Boulud.  Tickets are still available, but won’t be for long.
