The Longest Night: It’s High Time for Tea at the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival

It’s time to get fancy where fancy was invented in South Florida. Palm Beach. After a week like Art Week, nothing paints a more beautiful picture than The Cypress Room throwing a late night party on a palm tree-studded island in our own backyard. Ladies and gentlemen, staycaytion with us this weekend.

December 13-17 marks the third annual Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival.  We had a ball in 2011 and after a brief intermission last year (Art Basel fell on the same weekend,) The Genuine Hospitality Group returns, this time with Michael’s elegant American dining room.  We’d say the festival is bigger and better than ever, but we are with Goldilocks.  This one’s just right.

On the menu at Saturday night’s Cypress High Tea at the gorgeous and always hospitable beyond compare Four Season Palm Beach is Roel Alcudia and his carving station, Hedy Goldsmith and her macarons and petit fours, and multiple appearances by The Beverage Book and Ryan Goodspeed’s libations, including a new cold tea cocktail fit for the season — winter’s The Longest Night.  Check the menu out here and get tickets for any number of great events including ours here.  Michael’s on a panel of chefs earlier in the day with just a handful of the long list of strong local and national talent this year.  Big thanks to chef Darryl Moiles and his team at the Four Seasons and festival director David Sabin for taking such good care of us. Michael, Hedy, Roel, Ryan, Ellie and myself look forward to serving you, and having a little fun, too!
