As the official vehicle of The Genuine Hospitality Group, Cadillac is presenting a unique driving experience exclusive to guests of Michael’s flagship Design District restaurant. Beginning Friday, April 22 and for a limited time only, guests of Michael’s Genuine® Food & Drink for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights will have an opportunity to test drive at their preferred local Cadillac dealer and as a thank you for participation, choose from among two Genuine gifts to be enjoyed at The Genuine Hospitality Group of restaurants, compliments of Cadillac.
After something sweet to finish the meal from Pastry Chef MJ Garcia, guests will receive a unique code to access Cadillac’s Tasteful Impressions: Genuine Drive Experience web portal where they can complete a few simple steps to sign up and elect their desired gift to be redeemed upon completion of a test drive before June 13, 2016. Participants may choose from special Cadillac Tasting Menu for two which Chef has customized at his American Grill & Cocktail bar, Cypress Tavern, including four courses and choice of a tableside cocktail, glass of wine or beer; or a $150 The Genuine Hospitality Group Gift Card good for use at Michael’s Genuine® Food & Drink, Harry’s Pizzeria® and Cypress Tavern.
“I’m excited our guests will have the opportunity to experience the cars that I’ve gotten to know pretty well over the past few months and have enjoyed driving. And there’s always more to learn!” Chef says. “What’s really great is that Cadillac has created a simple way to make this happen, and for our valued guests to get to know us a little better, too, in the process – from where it began at Michael’s Genuine to our greater family of restaurants in Miami!”
The relationship between iconic luxury automaker and the celebrated chef began in November 2015, as Cadillac’s Road To Table event rolled into town with Saveur magazine for a private culinary experience at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink. Tasteful Impressions: Genuine Drive Experience kicks off a lead up to our annual trip to California where, since 2012, Chef, Tamara, Larkee and I have traveled each year to blend a private label wine with dear friend and winemaker Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat. Lua Rossa, named after daughter Lulu Schwartz who does the label art, will be in its fourth blend when it’s conceived from May 11-13 with an Escalade charting a course for culinary adventures from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara and back again. Follow along at #LuaRossa for the travelogue, and stay tuned for more ways you can enjoy the fruits of our labor here in Miami!
