Lua Rossa (est. 2013) is our red blend with winemaker Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat in Santa Barabara, CA. A festive partnership between simpatico creatures that long predates this rosy collaboration, Michael and Jim find inspiration in good food and adventures in good company, now expressed through this bottle. After taking in some Sideways inspiration at the Hitching Post and a good deal of vintages with a home-cooked feast at Rancho La Cuna, a wine of extraordinary character results — a little different each year depending on what Jim’s got squirreled away in those mystery barrels!
